I don’t know WHAT exactly freaks me out about these commercials.
Well, yes I do.. it’s the HANDS! The human hands behind the dolls. They kind of freak me out.
Of course when they hold Barbie by the back of her head and turn her head around, I can’t HELP but think it’s a little BDSM-y… I know. I’m a freak.
Is this new? Did Barbie commercials always have a hand? Or did somebody decide that there HAD to be hands in the commercials so consumers knew they weren’t buying tiny little spirited robots?

THEN be disturbed by Barbie. That story has BDSM Barbie overtones FOR SURE.
I think the commercials always had hands. Same goes for action figure commenercials.
